Texte : Trois initiales ornées, toutes incluses dans le premier quaternion de l’ Historia anglorum : f. 3 : C/um, en rouge et vert, avec motifs végétaux et têtes animales ; f. 4 : B/ritannia, à l’encre, à motifs végétaux ; f. 10 : G/aius, à l’encre, formant un hybride zoomorphe ailé serpentiforme. Initiales monochromes (parfois munies d’un filigrane bleu ou rouge), en rouge, bleu, jaune ou vert. Intitulés en rouge ou en vert. Vers la fin du texte, à partir du f. 93r, petites lettrines rouges ou bleues en alinéa ou dans le cours du texte. Décoration d’inspiration anglaise (Stirnemann 1993).
Autres informations codicologiques : le scribe ayant copié la première partie (ff. 3-55v) est possiblement celui du ms. Avranches 159, f. 4-206 (Greenway 1996, p. cxxii-cxxiii: Stirnemann 1993, p. 123). Présence de quelques indications de couleur pour la réalisation des initiales filigranées (Stirnemann 1993, p. 128-130).
